PREPARING FOR YOUR
Some Mindful Adjustments Have Been Made to Bodywork Sessions w/ the Intention of Reducing the Spread of Illness:
What I need from you:
•A clean and open space for my table + supplies (An area comparable to a twin size bed, at minimum. View the photos above for reference). Living and Dining room spaces often work best for a massage session.
•Please do not schedule anything 30 minutes prior to and/or following your session so that you may fully enjoy and integrate your experience!
•If this will be your first session with me, I require a brief phone call and a photo of your I.D. upon confirming your session.
•Setup usually takes 10-15 minutes. I will arrive early so we can begin at your reserved time. Once everything is set up, we'll revisit your preferences and I will leave the room to wash my hands while you undress to the level of your comfort. Some people choose to fully de-robe while others keep their underwear on. You will always be appropriately draped with a sheet. Reiki sessions are practiced with Client fully clothed.
•Please complete the online bodywork intake/questionnaire below at least 24 hours prior to your session:
I will provide:
•Antibacterial/antiviral cleaning wipes
•Warming pad for table
•Freshly cleaned sheets & blanket
•Prenatal cushion (for prenatal massage)
•Gentle body oil // lotion (please let me know if you have sensitivities to essential oils, almond, or coconut oil)
•Bluetooth speaker & a curated relaxing massage playlist
•Instruments (for MindBody Experience)
•And most importantly... A holistic, unique, and rejuvenating bodywork experience from the comfort of your home!
A non-refundable deposit may be collected to reserve your session. Payment is due at the time of the service. I prefer cash and local checks but I also take all major credit cards.
24-Hour Rescheduling Policy
As a very small business - I deeply appreciate you letting me know in advance if you are unable to keep your reservation. In the event that you should need to cancel or reschedule your reservation within 24 hours of your session, either your deposit will be forfeited or you will be invoiced for 50% of your booked service. If you are ill, you may reschedule your reservation free of charge. If you paid a deposit and need to reschedule 24+ hours in advance, your deposit will be transferred to your new reservation date.
Everything discussed during your session will be kept confidential except if subpoenaed by a court of law. I will not confirm nor disclose the fact that a specific person is my client, unless I have permission and the written consent of the client to do so.
Alexandra Strong of Atma Prema Wellness is a Certified Massage Therapist that provides professional, ethical, and non-sexual massage therapy services. Any sexual behavior, be it physical or verbal, by the client toward the therapist or by the therapist toward the client is unethical, inappropriate and unacceptable. Sexual harassment or advances are not tolerated. If the therapist's or client's safety or comfort ever feels compromised, the session will be stopped immediately.

Atma Prema Wellness' Protocol for Reducing the Spread of Illnesses
If you're experiencing ANY cold or flu-like symptoms (with or without a fever) or if you have had a recent exposure to someone with COVID-19 or any suspected respiratory illness within 14 days of your session, please reschedule your reservation. You will not be charged for rescheduling. I will also reschedule our session if I’m not feeling well or come into contact with anybody who is or has been ill recently.
Immediately upon arrival, I will wash (or sanitize) my hands and then again right before and after the massage session. As usual, I am properly washing/sanitizing all of my products, table, sheets, and blankets before and after sessions.
Masks are not required by Client or Therapist during your in home session, however, for peace of mind they may be worn by Client and/or Therapist. Please let me know before your session if you prefer to wear a mask and/or prefer me to wear a mask. If you choose to wear a mask, the best practice for wearing one during your massage may be to wear it while you are face up (supine) on the table. It might be challenging to breathe fully with a mask on while you are face down (prone) in the face cradle. You have full autonomy over your well-being and are supported in your decision to wear or to not wear a mask.
Ultimately, my goal is for you to feel as safe and relaxed as possible during your session. Please honor what will bring you the most comfort during your in home massage session and communicate that with me via text, email, or on your intake form.
In addition to these measures, Alexandra of Atma Prema Wellness also trusts in the power of nutrition, supplements, stress-reduction and proper sleep habits. Daily supplementation of Vitamin C, D3, A, Zinc, and probiotics may be beneficial in supporting the immune system so that it can integrate or ward off bacteria and viruses. (Please do your own research prior to taking supplements and consult with a provider if needed). Eating whole foods, finding ways to reduce stress and getting quality and adequate sleep should not be underestimated. Your body is an intelligent system and treating your whole self - body, mind, and spirit - with trust, compassion, and care is important beyond measure.
By booking an in-person session with Atma Prema Wellness, you acknowledge that your session is elective and despite all mindful preventative measures and best efforts, you may still be putting yourself at risk for COVID-19 or other illness.
