Service Description

This offering includes a foot bath, herbal pelvic steam, and abdominal & womb massage. This service runs 2 hours and includes an intake, outtake, and a demonstration of self care massage. This is a beautiful offering for general womb healing and conception preparation! Enjoy a nourishing pelvic steaming session while soaking your feet in a copper basin of warm, healing Ashoka herbal water. Your bath ritual will take place in solitude. During this time you are welcome to meditate, journal, draw, read, or simply enjoy the feeling of the steam and warm foot soak while sipping on herbal tea. This is a sacred time for tuning in. Following your spa ritual, I will re-enter the room and you will receive a 75 minute abdominal and womb massage which includes focused bodywork along the back, sacrum, glutes, abdomen, and thighs - bringing healing and balance to your whole Sacral / Pelvic area. Womb sessions always include a warm castor oil pack over the abdomen. Ashoka powder comes from the root of the Ashoka Tree (saraca asoca). In India, Ashoka is known as the “remover of sorrow” or, “sorrow-less”. it has long been used for supporting female reproductive health. It may help in regulating menstruation, toning the uterus, and with various other reproductive conditions. It also works on the subtle body in removing sorrow and grief held in the uterus. Its primary use is for postpartum healing and recovery but steaming has many other uses across various life phases, as well. Pelvic Steaming is best done directly following menstruation and before ovulation if TTC. It can be done throughout the cycle (but not during menstruation) if not trying to conceive so long as pregnancy is not suspected.
